I ordered an engagement ring in the fall of 2019. I initially got the wrong size 4.5. They re-sized the ring for free and paid for shipping! I did not have any issues. The turnaround and shipping was great! They cut out the middle man and seem to have better prices. I would recommend BLUENILE!

The first time my fiance purchased my engagement from Blue Nile was in September 2018. Fast forward today, we did an engagement ring upgrade which required us to spend at least double the amount. The diamond experts I dealt with was mostly Aaron and Mark. Both reps were very patient with me as I waited over 3 MONTHS to get this ring custom made. The customer service is good when I was able to get a hold of either Aaron or Mark. But I literally had to call in 5 times per day to get a hold of them... and they rarely returned me call unless I told the switchboard operator it was an emergency. No body will return your call if you leave messages but once someone is actually on the phone with you, all your questions will get answered and taken care of. We picked up my new ring from the Oregon showroom 3 months after payment was made... IT'S ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.... honestly, the 3 month wait was worth it... I had to return my first ring to them before they agreed to make the new one, so i had NO RING for 3 months! It was hard but so WORTH IT! The ring we ordered is a 3.51 total carat radiant cut VVS2 and I am SO IN LOVE! It's so gorgeous and the ladies at the Blue Nile showroom were so welcoming. Every jewelry store I walked into (even the owner who sells Rolex) complimented how beautiful my ring was.

Bottom line... the customer service kind of SUCKS but the rings they make are WORTH IT! I will never shop anywhere else... so I give 4 stars due to poor customer service but I'm so happy about my ring!

I have purchased several items from Blue Nile, my favorite being a pair of peridot and diamond drop earrings set in white gold. I have gotten many compliments on them, and they have held up well. When I purchase from Blue Nile, I know the quality of what I am getting. They are very transparent with the descriptions of each item on their website. When I buy something there on sale, I feel like Im getting a good price. Items are always packaged so nicely. I love opening them up. I would and have bought from them again and again.
